Immigration Procedure
Costa Rica, provides for those individuals who invest a minimum of US$200,000 in the approved teak plantation and provide the necessary paperwork will obtain their status.
REQUIREMENTS TO OBTAIN THE STATUS OF RESIDENT INVESTOR THROUGH OUR APROVED TEAK REFORESTATION PLANTATION.
- Each person whose name appears on application must have a valid passport.
- Each person must have a birth certificate.
- Each person must have a certificate of good conduct from their local police department (where applicant has resided for past six months).
- Marriage certificate (if married)
- If the applicant has previously changed nationality a certificate of naturalization must be translated and presented.
- A Certificate of Investment reflecting a $200,000.00 US investment. Our accounting firm issues this upon proof.
- Eight (8) passport size pictures required. All black & white, 4 front view and 4 profile pictures (matt finish) of each individual on the application.
- At time of the residency application, US$300.00 per individual is to be deposited with the National Immigration Council.
- Documents listed in 2 - 5 must be authenticated by the Costa Rican Embassy or Consulate closest to where the documents were issued Document #6 will be issued in Costa Rica in Spanish and will have accounting seal as required by Immigration affixed to it. Passports will be copied by Company’s lawyer prior to application being submitted to Immigration.
All documentation to be presented to Immigration must have been issued within the past six months.
